Notice what happens when you want something for no practical reason. The pull toward it, and then, almost immediately, the questioning. What is it for? Whether it is worth it. Whether you can justify it. And often, by the end of that questioning, the want has quietly been talked away.

You may only allow yourself the desires you can defend. The ones with a reason attached. The purely felt wants, the ones that are simply for pleasure or beauty or their own sake, rarely survive the interrogation.

This week the Sun and Mercury both move through Virgo, the part of the sky most devoted to usefulness and the practical case for things. Virgo asks what something is for. It wants the reason, the function, the justification.

The sky is not putting your wants on trial. This Virgo emphasis only makes the questioning more visible, and with it a gentler counter-question. Whether a want needs a reason at all to be allowed.

Your Abundance Frequency Is Acting Strange

This morning your signature kept appearing. Three times in one session. That doesn't just happen.

It means you're about to break through financially. Right before money starts flowing differently.

Those money thoughts that won't leave you alone? That restless feeling about finances? This reading explains it all.

A Life of Only Justifiable Things Is Missing Something Essential

Many of us have learned to filter our desires through justification. We will let ourselves want the thing that is useful, that serves a purpose, that we can explain. But the want that is simply a want, with no function beyond the wanting, feels indefensible. So we set it aside.

This filtering feels responsible. Practical. Mature. But it slowly narrows a life down to only what can be justified, and a life of only justifiable things is missing something essential. The unreasoned wants, the ones that are just for joy, are often the ones that make a life feel like yours.

Underneath the filtering is usually an old belief. Somewhere you learned that wanting for its own sake was frivolous or selfish, that desire had to be earned or explained, that a good, responsible person only pursued what could be defended. So you became fluent in justification, and a stranger to your own unreasoned wanting.

The cost is subtle and cumulative. You end up with a life full of sensible choices and very little of what you simply wanted. You can account for every decision and still feel a quiet flatness, because the things that delight us rarely come with a good reason attached.

The Universe Is Watching You

The Universe is watching. Waiting. Hoping.

Sending you signs, hoping you will connect with it. Have you noticed?

It is waiting to bestow showers of abundance on you. The only thing you need to do, in order to receive them, is activate your pineal gland.

Unlearning the Cultural Demand to Optimize Every Desire

This is not only your private habit. We live in a culture that demands everything be productive, optimized, justified, and that treats pleasure without purpose as a kind of waste. Many of us absorbed the belief that a want must earn its place. It does not. Some wants are legitimate simply because they are yours.

None of this means your practicality is wrong. Your ability to weigh and consider is real and useful. The invitation is not to abandon it. It is to notice where the demand for justification has quietly outlawed your simplest desires, and to let one of them exist without a reason.

Virgo season is a good time, paradoxically, to practice this. To notice the reflex to justify, and to let a want stand without the case for it. Not every want, and not recklessly. Just one, allowed to be real simply because you feel it.

Answering the Demand to Justify with "Because I Want To"

You do not have to overhaul your choices this week. You do not have to become impractical or chase every passing desire. The shift is small, and it is a kind of permission.

It might look like letting yourself want something purely for pleasure and not talking yourself out of it. Choosing the thing that has no function beyond delighting you. Noticing the reflex to justify, and answering it this once, with because I want to, and letting that be reason enough.

A want does not have to be useful to be legitimate. Life moves in rhythms, and delight is part of the rhythm, not a luxury you have to earn. Your desires are allowed to exist without a case made for them.

If there is one thing to carry into your day, let it be this. You do not have to justify what you want. Some wants are simply yours, needing no reason beyond the fact that you feel them. You are allowed to want, plainly, and to let the wanting be enough.
